I discount shipping significantly on orders of 1 or 2 individual patterns and on particularly lightweight orders, such as mini-skeins. This discount will be reflected in your PayPal invoice.
I am not attempting to profit from the shipping and handling charges; these charges reflect the actual cost of postage, shipping supplies, and money handling fees.
I will use the US Postal Service for all shipments. If you prefer another shipping method, I will be happy to ship that way but I will have to charge you any difference in shipping cost.
Discounts
Orders over $175 will be given a 10% discount.
Taxes
All shipments to addresses in California are subject to state sales tax, currently 8.75%.
Returns
I will accept returns of yarn that is in resellable condition up to one year after purchase. By resellable I mean that the ball band is intact and the yarn is not stained or smelly. Postage is your responsiblity. Please contact me before returning yarn.
All sales of books and patterns, however, are final.
Damaged Shipments
I will replace any item that arrives in poor condition. Please save all packaging and contact me right away.
Payments
The online ordering process is programmed so that you can place your order without being charged automatically. When I have filled the order, I will send an invoice to the email you used when ordering. This email will contain a link to the payment window; when you have paid the invoice I will mail out your package. I set it up this way so you will not be charged until the order is filled and ready to go!
Please make sure that emails from PayPal do not go to your spam folder!
I can also take personal checks for your order. When I have filled your order and calculated all shipping and handling charges and tax as applicable, I will email you with the total. You can then send me your check, and when your check clears my bank I will mail your package.
