Smiling skulls, bats, and snakes! Lorraine Condotta’s charming Scare Isle tam is just right for Halloween.
The kit contains enough Jamieson Spindrift yarn to knit the tam (but not enough for swatching): 1 ball of yarn and 9 mini-skeins.
Please note: The pattern is a free download from Knitty and is not included in the kit.
The colors of the Faded Splendor Tam were inspired by a gently faded Persian rug: lovely soft gray-blues, roses, and orangey yellows. The yarn pack includes 4 balls and 6 mini-skeins of Jamieson Spindrift.
The Faded Splendor Tam pattern was originally published in the Interweave Colorknits Fall 2011 eMag (three versions: PC, Mac, and iPad) and is not included in the yarn pack. It is also now available as a single-pattern download from the Interweave Store for $5.50
Pssst! A customer told me that you can knit two tams from this kit if you order an extra mini-skein of 766 Sage. I haven’t tested this myself, but it’s worth considering.
The Celtic Pillow design calls for 14 colors—but you can knit more than one pillow out of this yarn pack! The colors were inspired by a Japanese woodblock print: predominantly blue greens and purples but with a bracing dose of golds to keep things interesting.
The Celtic Pillow pattern is available for free.

The 11 colors used in these mitts evoke the heartbreaking loveliness of sunset on a clear night. The kit includes 5 balls of Spindrift and 6 miniskeins.
Pattern not included. You can purchase the pattern for $6.00 as a pdf download through my Ravelry store.
The threatening sky and the raking light of autumn in northern New Mexico inspired this cap design: gold, green, blue-gray, and lavenders appear in this classic Fair Isle design. Fourteen colors in all! Never fear–by using mini-skeins the cost is not prohibitive. The yarn pack includes 16 mini-skeins and 1 ball of Jamieson Shetland Spindrift yarn.
Pattern not included; it can be purchased for $6.00 as a pdf download through Ravelry (you do not need to be a member of Ravelry to download patterns).
